Dear Colleagues,
Please find attached a copy of the programme of the London Society for the school year 2008-9.
We are pleased to announce that the programme will open on Saturday, 18th October 2008, with an introduction from Vincent Dachy to the theme for the year’s work: « Lacanian Interpretation: How come I suffer the way I do? »
« Lacanian Interpretation” is the theme of work for the VIIth Congress of the NLS for 2008-9, and is due to take place in Paris, on May 9th/10th 2009. The congress is an event open to all.
The Knottings Seminar is the seminar of the NLS, and presents the tie between the work in London and the work of the NLS across the various societies and groups of the School, a process that unfolds towards the congress. The London event in the Knottings series will be held on 7th February 2008, when we will be joined by Anne Lysy (Vice President of the NLS), Agnieszka Kurek (Warsaw Circle), and Richard Klein (London Society).
The argument for the Congress is given by Pierre Gilles Gueguen and is available at:
Time 2-5pm: Venue: ULU, Malet St WC1.
We look forward to working with you.
Regards,
Penny Georgiou
