Alexandre Stevens, MD is a well-known Belgian psychoanalyst and psychiatrist, and is the author of many publications. He is Past-President of the New Lacanian School (N.L.S.), Member and Past-Treasurer of the World Association of Psychoanalysis (W.A.P.), and member and Past-President of the Ecole de la Cause Freudienne (E.C.F.). Dr. Stevens is a widely acclaimed speaker who travels frequently to Europe, South America, the United States and Canada, to lecture and teach. He is the Director of « The Courtil », a residential and partial treatment program for mentally ill children and young adults, in Belgium. He is responsible for the Freudian Field in Belgium, as well as the coordinator and faculty member of the Clinical Section in Brussels. He is also fluent in both English and French. He has published over 100 articles in journals and books chapters, and his work has been translated from French into English, Spanish, and Italian.
This Fall, on October 24 and 25, 2008, Dr. Stevens will join us for a third time in New York for an intensive Seminar of the Freudian Field.
The Intensive Seminar includes a Lecture and an all-day Seminar with two clinical case presentations.
